As President & CEO of the National Speakers Association (NSA), I led the organization through a significant cultural and operational transformation—refocusing strategy, stabilizing finances, and aligning the team around a shared vision. In just two years, we achieved a $1M financial turnaround—shifting from an $800K deficit to a six-figure surplus—while growing membership from 1,900 to over 2,300. Along the way, we modernized core programs, doubled member dues for the majority while increasing satisfaction, and launched new offerings including a robust sponsorship portfolio and a highly successful storytelling conference.
