Bio

Eleni Kelakos, CSP®—The Speaker Whisperer®— has been teaching presence and presentation skills since founding her business in 2003. Drawing on more than two decades as a professional actor and an award-winning, nationally touring singer-songwriter, she helps speakers and business leaders pitch and present with authenticity, confidence, and impact.

Eleni works with organizations such as General Motors, Allstate, and Little Caesars, coaching leaders and facilitating high-impact training. She also practices what she preaches, delivering keynote presentations that fire up hearts and minds at conferences nationwide.

She holds a double major in Theatre Arts and Semiotics from Brown University and is a past president of the National Speakers Association of Michigan. A seasoned performer, Eleni has sung the national anthem at Shea Stadium for three (winning) Mets games and has produced four acclaimed albums of original music.

Eleni is the author of three books: Touch the Sky: Find Your Voice, Speak Your Truth, Make Your Mark (Global eBook Award Gold Medal winner), Claim the Stage: A Woman’s Guide to Speaking Up, Standing Out and Taking Leadership (Amazon #1 bestseller), and Charismatic Presence: Five Principles for Magnetic Presentations (Amazon #1 bestseller; Literary Titan Gold Medal and Firebird Book Award).

In recognition of her leadership and philanthropy advancing the arts, sciences, and humanities, she received the Ignitors Medal from Washtenaw Creative.

Eleni lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with her husband, Jim, and their big red cat, Max.
